At St Luke’s, we seek deep partnerships with our Major Mission Partners.
These Partners help us: learn about, pray for & resource response to real human needs.
Through our trusted partners we seek to respond at the national and near international neighbour horizons.
On the near international neighbour horizon, we have a longstanding partnership with Chris and Grace Adams working with the Church Missionary Society, in their work equipping church leaders through training, preaching, and producing Bible resources in Timor-Leste (East Timor).
Also on the near international neighbour horizon, we partner with Compassion. Our child sponsorship strategy- to empower a cluster of children and their communities living in poverty in Manado in East Indonesia. This strategy was launched in our St Luke’s Online Broadcast on November 8th, 2020.
To share the mercy of Jesus and commit to sponsoring a child in Manado contact our St Luke’s Office. Our prayer is that this will be the beginning of a long investment in the children, families and churches of this district.
On the national horizon, our heart is to empower indigenous Christian leaders for their vital work of bringing Christ’s mercy and hope to their communities. To that end we partner with Nungalinya College, Darwin, in their work empowering indigenous Christian leaders up north.
Giving to Nungalinya College
To support our Nungalinya partnership financially, send a cheque addressed to St Luke’s with a note indicating ‘Nungalinya’ in the envelope, or make an electronic funds transfer to St Luke’s and indicate ‘Nungalinya’ in the transfer description and also send an email to our St Luke’s Office to indicate the intention of your donation. We will then pass your gift on to the College, along with other donations from St Luke’s members.
