Today we thank God for our dads and the father-figures in our lives. We honour them, and journey with them in the great challenge to see dads flourish in their roles in uncertain times.
We live in an age when a variety of versions of God and ultimate reality are available for us to select from. And while this can seem empowering, on the other hand we live with great confusion, therefore, about the true nature of our Source and Origin. Without a Divine Archetype to inspire our earthly parenting, no wonder being a dad is such a mystery to many.
Enter Psalm 103, the words of our True Source, our Creator.
This Sunday we explore what it means to Know, Mirror and Point to the Heavenly Father, in our roles and dads, and father figures on earth.
