This Sunday we continue our mini-series on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We’re in John 21.1-19 and we explore again an appearance of the Risen Lord in the flesh. These appearances offer one of the key evidences that back up the truth: Jesus is alive. But wait, there is still more. In this appearance Jesus also intentionally empowers his apostles with two lessons they will need for their upcoming mission: (i) in the Presence of the Lord is Power for Mission; (ii) from the presence of the Lord flows Provision for the Apostles.
