Jesus gives us soul satisfaction. He says in John 4: ‘Whoever drinks the water I give will never thirst’. And this soul healing is available not just to Jews, but to all who come to the Father through Jesus, no matter their background. The love of God and his Son for all kinds of people was scandalous in the 1st Century, and is just as scandalous today- in our divided tribal society.
