St Luke’s ELEVATE Youth Ministry 

ELEVATE Youth Gathering occurs every Sunday from 5pm during school term. It is a time to explore what matters most in life, faith in Jesus and build friendships. 

Dinner is included and there is also a worship and prayer session for those interested from 7.15pm. Parents are welcome to come and worship with their youth from 7.15pm.

At St Luke’s we also seek to identify and release the gifts of young people. This could be in the Youth Band, Welcoming Team, Tech Team or in some other way. We believe the Spirit has gifted youth to build the body and welcome the distinct youth contribution to this great goal. 

Our ELEVATE Youth are also encouraged to participate in the camps ministries of our trusted partners.

VCYC is an annual youth camp held at Belgrave Heights Convention Centre, with live music, engaging speakers, and community building.

Summer Under the Son Youth is a the annual camp facilitated by our Major Mission Partner CMS. It is an exciting opportunity for youth to build friendships and engage in Jesus’ world wide mission. Youth often hear from missionaries serving in a variety of international locations, opening their eyes to the ways Christians are impacting the world today.  https://www.summerundertheson.org/youth

We encourage families to unite around a desire to see youth shaped by Jesus, and support a Christian formation approach. This means encouraging parents to partner with their youth to together grow like Jesus.  Also, our approach means offering living models of what it means to be shaped by Jesus in the world.  This could be a Christian plumber or carpenter, landscaper or doctor, parent or social  worker.  We seek to share testimonies with youth from relevant adults, that they might discern Christ’s call on their lives.
